Curtis earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) and Master of Professional Accountancy (M.P.A.) degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2005. He is a member of both the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Throughout his public accounting career in Houston and Dallas, he has provided tax, accounting and consulting services for closely held companies and their related business owners, high-net-worth individuals, multistate and multinational entities, trusts and nonprofits. He has served a diverse group of clients and has experience in the following industries: real estate, oil and gas, personal services, construction, manufacturing, retail, farming and private equity.
Curtis enjoys the time he spends with his wife, Amanda, and their two sons on their annual Disney trips and watching the Astros. They attend Northplace Church in Sachse and stay busy with their older son’s activities, including the peewee football team Curtis coaches.
