Wayne brings over 30 years of experience to Smith Anglin Financial. A native of Iowa, he believes that creating trust and putting the client’s interest first is the most important value that can be provided as an advisor. Wayne earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP) professional. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University and an engineering degree from Iowa State University. Wayne also teaches Corporate Finance as an adjunct professor.

Wayne and his wife Glynis have four adult children, all of whom serve in the military. Wayne, Jr. (Buster) is a graduate of the Naval Academy and served as an infantry captain in the Marine Corps. He is married to Aynne and resides in Dallas. Daughter Kate and her husband Billy are both Air Force lieutenants and live in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Jack is in his fourth year at West Point, and Elizabeth is in her second year at the Air Force Academy.

Outside of work, Wayne enjoys biking and supporting the military. Glynis is finishing up her final year earning her doctorate in education.
