Tawny Richardson is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from there in 1984. She started her business career in California working for smaller CPA firms where she gained a wealth of experience in several accounting areas before hanging out her own shingle in 1989. She maintained her own CPA practice in California until 2010 and then moved to Texas, where she moved her CPA license as well. Tawny joined the Smith Anglin team in 2022 and is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of CPAs.
Tawny has a dog and a cat, and three grown sons who are the light of her life.
